リチウムイオンバッテリー、マグネトー点火にした場合に
必要になる過充電を防ぐためのローアウトプットレギュレーターです。

When Harley-Davidson introduced 12 V electrics on electric start models in 1965,
the new generators worked on relatively large automotive type batteries.
The batteries required large regulators and high charging currents.

Today everything has become smaller, including the batteries – and
many bikers of older bikes rely on the 12 V electrics,
with bulbs being available at gas stations and load on
switches and other equipment halved at the same power.

Kick start bikes need only small capacity batteries
to provide a reliable spark.
So, if you consider micro-sizing your battery or
think about installing a leight weight Li-Ion battery,
you need a Cycle Electric Low Voltage regulator.
